Maggie Goode is a third generation cattle rancher on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Ms. Goode runs a cow/calf operation with the assistance of her son and grandsons. She is currently employed as a Juvenile Probation Officer for the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes. In 2001, she received the USDA Farm Service Producer of the Year award, and in 2005 she received the USDA Farm Services Volunteer of the Year award. Maggie serves on the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors, as well as the Board of Directors for Eagle Bank, one of the few tribally owned banks in the country. She currently is a FSA County Committee member from Sanders County and serves on the CSKT Agriculture Advisory Committee. Ms. Goode formerly served as a Tribal Council Representative from her home Hot Springs district and as a director for the Montana Cattlemen’s Association. She is a lifelong member, volunteer, and supporter of 4-H.
